So, I was really pleased to get an epic Blacksmithing plan for a two handed axe called the Felsteel Reaver Axe . I was expecting to sell for 900 gold +, but since the mats are sooo stupidly expensive and you can now get better weapons from grinding/leeching honor in AV it's a waste of pixels and no one wants it.
So now I can't GIVE the thing away - it's next to useless. In the end I ended up selling it about 300 gold which isn't too bad but after selling it in the AH lo and behold 5 minutes later in Trade channel I see "WTS Plans: Felsteel Reaver" - so the guy who bought obviously thought he was gonna make some huge profit from it. I felt like whispering him and telling him "Good luck selling that heap of junk mate!"
What the hell's going on here? Didn't Blizzard think things through when adding the Season 2 arena gear in regular PVP? What's the point in spending thousands of gold and time to lovingly level up a crafting profession only for the skill to be utterly useless?!!
I'm going to go one step further here people! I propose that PVP epics should not be allowed in the game at all! (With the exception of Arena gear) I'm sick of seeing hundreds of people leeching honor in AV to get epic gear so they can do Kara etc when all the level 70 instances are empty and collecting dust.
Crafted epics should be the BEST in the game other than high end raids etc and NOT from PVP! Blue gear should be the limit on PVP!!!
In the case of the OP /shrug. times change, things become obsolete. It would be nice to see blizzard add a lot more recipes/patterns/plans to new content. I think every prof has some set of gear that takes them up to T5 content. But do they have things that take them higher than that? BoP recipes from T6 content? Last i checked they didnt and its like they just phase it out at the higher end, same thing happened pre BC wish they would put more into it is all.
